Cover Reveal and Release Date!

Hello people of the world!

Well it's February.  When the hell did that happen?! Wasn't Christmas yesterday?!

In other news I have a beautiful new cover for the next book in my Moonlit Nights series!   Want to see it? I know you do!

Pretty isn't?  I think so.

This book is my baby.  I've held it close to my heart for many years and it's been a journey to get it released.  I deeply hope everyone loves it as much as I do.

Here is the blurb:

When Kyle Chase was eighteen, he had his life all mapped out: a business degree and a long, happy life with his childhood sweetheart.Seven years later, Kyle is still haunted by the girl who declared her undying love to him before disappearing without a word as soon as he left for college. With the realization that the memories are stopping him from living his life, Kyle posts an ad in hopes of making contact with the woman who broke his heart.

Sadie Long has finally found her niche in the world as an artist, years after leaving the South and her trailer-trash parents. Every month, her muse drives Sadie to create another artwork featuring a vivid full moon and the boy she left behind, and it's driving her crazy. When she comes across an ad in Craigslist’s “Missed Connections,” she knows it’s from him, and even though she’s terrified of how he might feel about what she did when they were teenagers, she has no choice but to respond to the ad.

When the truth comes out, will Kyle be able to forgive Sadie and move forward, or will they always be stuck in the past?

Starting the 22nd you can download your copy from Amazon and then starting May 23rd it will be available at all other online retailers.

Stay cool!

Happy New Year... oh nevermind

Let's just start off by saying, I totally suck at blogging.  I admit it. I do.

Phew. I feel better now.

Now on to the good stuff.  Have you all read my first novella, Sunrise?  If not you should.  It's not so bad.  Honest!

Besides, it's free so why not?  =)

So it's 2014.

Really?! Already!

If any of you are like me, you can't believe it's already a new year.  I wish someone could explain to me how time can move so fast and go so slow at the same time?  If you could explain that to me, I'd give you a treat. A cookie or a cupcake.  Your choice.

For the new year I've decided to live better.  Which is just code for 'lose weight' but I feel that term has a defeatious stench to it that I want to live better.  I've given up soda, my one true love.  OK, total lie.  But it's up there.  I am on day 9 of no soda and it's not been so bad.  Last week I had pizza and I REALLY wanted to cave but I didn't.  I was good.  *pats back*.  This week I am going to keep that up and start my yoga.  If I can do yoga 3 times this week I will be very happy.  I should have done it yesterday but the oldest, who is 9, got front braces and it was a rough night.  Yoga was not on the mind.  Wine was.

With the help of my bestie, who is now a fitness freak and you should check out her blog over at The Hungry Latina, I am setting small goals and when I meet them I will reward myself with something non-food related.  If I can meet my goal for this week, next week I am going no white sugar.  Yeah, that is going to be a fun week.  But I think I can do it.  It'll be hard but nothing is ever easy right? Well.. except gaining weight.  That shit is easy to do. -_-

As for my writing, big plans this year!  I've got four,  that's right FOUR releases this year already scheduled.  On top of that I have several stories in the works and hopefully will see the light if day soon.  I've got a few other voices bouncing around also, wanting to come out and play.

Which totally sounds creepy, but ask any author and they will say that too.  ( I hope. >.< )

In the meantime I've got a few trips planned this year.  First I'm going to Los Angeles for a weekend of Shakespeare and writing with my other bestie and a much needed break.  I'm still trying to decide if I should head over to RT 2014 in NOLA for a day.  San Diego Comic Con is coming up in July and hopefully I can get a badge for that too which I should be able to.  And lastly, I am hoping to sneak in a trip to Disneyland with the kids this fall.  I prefer to go in October because of the Halloween theme, and it's typically less busy.

Other than that I'm going to be super busy with my upcoming releases and keeping you guys up to date.  Also, I plan updating my blog a bit also.  I want to change the look of it so that it expresses more of who I am.  Should be good times. =)

So what do you guys have planned for this year?

Happy New Year anyway!

Update and New Releases!

Hello people of the world!

Is everyone ready for Halloween? It's in just a few days.  When did that happen? I've got a few costume tweeks to make for the kiddies costumes and some touch ups for my own.  And since I know you were all wondering, yes I am wearing my Wonder Woman cosplay from SDCC.   So I'll be sure to post photos.

Now onto exciting news! I've finished some edits on my upcoming free read, Sunrise.  It'll be up on my publishers site for free! That's right F-R-E-E!  It'll be a nice little segue into my Moonlit Nights series. I think I'll post a little teaser next week and will give you release details as I get them.

Speaking of release my fellow BDP author, Elise Marion, has a new release today! The Groom is the sequel to My Ex Wife's Wedding.  I read the first book and am excited to read the second! Oh and Elise is super cool so you should check her out. Pick up that title for free, that's right another F-R-E-E read, at our publishers site Bottom Drawer Publications.  If you dig her free read, be sure to grab The Groom from the same site.  All formats are available from the publishers site.

Also in the news, it seems I'll be attempting NaNoWriMo next month.  For those of you that are unfamiliar with that it's National Novel Writing Month.   Basically a bunch of us people who like to write try to write as fast as possible in one month when we don't usually work that fast any other time. At least that's me.   So yeah.  I'll be posting more regular updates and using a word counter and all that awesome stuff.  If you're interested you should check out the NaNoWriMo site.  They have some cool sponsors and you get a few cool tools to help you write. There are forums, coaches and the whole program is full of really awesome cheerleaders.  If you sign up let me know and we can be buddies.

As always stay connected with me on Twitter, Faceback and here on my blog, links are on the right.

Have a safe Halloween!
